Anyone use there 90 for transporting there mountain road bikes about? Theres always the option of taking the wheels off and throwing them in the back, but if theres 2+ that option is no good, so what roof rack systems/rear carrier systems do people use? I've got a spare on the rear door (mud terrain) would a carrier system fit over this?

I use a cycle carrier that clamps on to the tow bar.
It carries mine and missus mountain bikes, whilst 3 kids bikes go in the back. One of the kids bikes is an adult size mountain bike and that goes in diagonally in the back, so I don't need to take any wheels off or anything like that.
The carrier extends enough past the spare wheel to get two bikes on.

Just seen a four way bike carrier mounted on the back of a 110 (pic to follow hopefully) manufactured by Simbars. This guy had it mounted on a swingaway, but it would fit on the door just as easily.

I crawled the net for hours trying to find an answer to this before I bought mine, in the end I gambled as it wasn't really a deal breaker but very happy to say that you can get a road bike in the back of a 90 tdci without taking the wheels off.

Just wanted to ping it out there in case anyone else is searching like I was! 🤣

Thread revival!

I can get a road bike with a 58cm frame in the back of my 90 without taking the wheels off. And the 90 has a centre bulkhead.

I mean you are all wrong. If you want to wear spandex and transport hateful objects you should just buy a 110 hardtop. No problem fitting four adult bikes in the back and as well as not needing to buy extra fitting and attachments you get the extra bonus not driving a matchbox car!

@C90 What's yours ?
A 2012 model ??

This thread was from 2010 (14 years ago) ....
It's a 2007.

I saw how old the thread was but was the one that kept coming up when I was searching for answers so wanted to drop some pics in case anyone else is looking and can't find what they are looking for 🤪
