Can anyone tell me if it is possible to fit 285/75/16 BFG Mud Terrain tyres onto my 2002 90 without them rubbing the inner arches on full lock??
Or are 265/75/16 tyres the largest without modifying/lifting??

It's a standard Defender 90 and hasn't been modified/lifted.

Many thanks gang!

Rubbing the radius arms just needs the steering lock stops adjusting. I'd be more concerned about em hitting the bodywork when the axle moves.

Heres how the 265/75/16s look if your interested

fook me they clog up easily don't they. shud of fitted 255 85 16's they wunt look like they're about to pop off the rims then. I can see frum that pic why they have so many problems with tyre wall damage though :p :)

265/75/16 fit without adjustments with wheel spacers and don't rub the body work on mine

ffs yella are you tryin to be an olympic torch bearer for the chinese, as you are always pushin there products

i weretalkin to a bloke at werk that had bin climbing snowdon over easter, he reckoned he found a teddy quite near the top
i'm missin me teddy can u send im back an have you found me dummy as i hates me spare one

I've got some 265/65R18 BFG All Terrains on mine (on 18" Range Rover alloys) but I've also got wheel spacers on. I wouldn't like to go any bigger with the wheels though until I get the lift sorted out as you can see from the pics! Also, if you do fit wheel spacers, I would definitely recommend fitting some wider wheel arches for obvious reasons!
