Just had a renewal from them.. I asked for protected no claims and the docs arrived yesterday, dated the 10th April.

I noticed they have not added protected no claims, so I rang up today, the 14th April, to get it added and the response was that they don't offer protected no claims with that provider.

Ok, so i'll cancel it then as it's mis-sold and within the 14 days cooling off period.

Nope, they are demanding a cancellation fee.

I bought a second land rover which I wanted to allow my 21 year old daughter to borrow for three days a week to travel to and from work 2 miles away. My usual insurer Footman James would not cover an under 25 year old so I insured it with Lancaster who assured me that I could easily add her to the policy in a couple of months when she turned 21. Apparently they no longer insure under 25 year olds, so I have paid for 12 months policy and would need to pay a cancellation fee on top of that when I move to another insurer. It does seem like robbery. I am still looking for an insurer who will cover us with a classic policy, might try Adrian Flux next, unless any one has another suggestion.

Still fighting for the money back.

They finally admitted it was mis-sold, after contacting the ombudsman, and said they will refund.

They finally did after lots of hassle, but for only a third of the amount.. now they say they don't know how to work the comp system to refund it fully.. they will ring back...not yet they haven't

It sounds like they've mis-sold to me. They record all conversations, so they can easily check.

I'd push for a full refund :)
