hey all was wondering if anybody could recommend a good 4x4 breakers in south east at the moment im after a turbo actuator but im sure I will need more parts in the future thanks in advance for any response.

Just looked at your other thread. Waste gate works on pressure NOT vacuum. Waste gate actuator will never move with a vac on it. What sort of mechanic did you take it to sounds like a right plank?

mity vacs can suck and blow I didn't write it was vac tested just used a mity vac

You need to check turbo pressure by fitting a pressure gauge to MAP sensor output nipple. The actuator is spring loaded and will only work with pressure applied. Rev engine and note pressure build, at max RPM pressure should fall slightly as waste gate opens. Waste gates are normally shut and very rarely fail open. However it could be leaking causing lack of turbo speed. If it is leaking waste gate will never open as insufficient pressure will be built to activate it. That would be a waste gate side of turbo needed not the actuator. And a side line to your other thread. How is the waste gate not opening going to cause a lack of power?

Possibly not applicable here, but if you haven't used them island4x4 are excellent for parts - quick postage and good parts (Britpart permitting). :)

no affiliation blah blah blah...

As above, or get yourself a Nanocom and check the boost pressure on live data as well as all the other operating parameters:)
