Best non-JLR folding side steps.

Been searching on here and elsewhere and can't find much about the original fold down side steps in terms of quality and durability.

Does anyone have any experience with a specific brand, as in corrosion and durability?

The cheapest JLR version are £200 each, so if there's a reasonable alternative, I'd like to give them a go.

I would be looking second hand. There are always plenty about at the auto jumbles as lots of people take them off! That would get you an original genuine one for not a lot of money at all, and then set about cleaning, sanding and giving a good coat of primer and paint which should keep the rust at bay.

Interesting to see that the Powerfuluk people rate the Britpart over the Land Rover part for corrosion - yes, I know they sell them but a bold statement all the same.
