used to have rectangular roof lights, there ok if you wanna light up your bonnet and about 10ft in front of your landy, the ones on at the mo give a massive long throw pencil beam light and certainly light up a huge distance in front of ya,im happy wiv them now as this is the 4th set of roof lights i have tried,
my rock sliders were an ebay bargain, there heavy duty ones and brand new inc postage i paid £100!!! well happy wiv that.
can i ask why you want stainless sliders?
surely there gonna get scratched and bashed about?
unless its for the school run of course
Good point on the lights, it's functionality you want over looks. I want Stainless Rock and Tree sliders as the galvanising does get bashed off as well as the paint. If you bash stainless it gets scratched but doesn't rust. I was looking at the Terrafirma 90 and a lot of that passivated steel goes rusty after a while, as does the silver paint they use. Anyway my 90 is only 2002 and my main motor so I wanted to keep it looking smart but at the same time be very capable for RTV fun and expeditions. Biggest issue with the sliders is the wife's height and not being able to get in anymore! I'm wondering if this will become a feature or a benefit...
I've got stainless diff guards on the way from Craig over at Driven Image, not too pricey either.
