considered making a high level brake light out of leds, with a hidden switch for "normal" operation, and when in "security" position the brake light would spell out "STOLEN" every time the brakes pressed.
in the hope of the car behind would alert the coppers.

Got pulled again tonight... seems I'm a popular boy with the law now lol

Still showing as sorn, thats the last time i tax at the post office....

also had a good look around my truck, didn't think i was every going to get away from him!!

you get them. If you get stopped again very very polite say "classed as sorn still?" copper will ask your name and let you right off.

Would have done but it online but DVLA never sent the logbook, only had the green slip. I've sent off the form with the green slip so the logbook should arrive soon, then i can do it online.

Twice this year i haven't received the log book, both were land rovers :/

'just a routine check sir as we know a lot of these get stolen'

'not a problem officer, and on behalf of all land rover owners please feel free to stop us whenever you like'

'thank you for your understanding sir'.

Then followed about 20 minutes of talking about landrovers!

First guy was sound, last night he wasn't too keen on 90s, slagged them off a little, said his mate had a disco which in his words "pi**ed all over the other 90s off road."

So i just bit my tongue and let him do what he had to do.
 
I get stopped every couple of weeks round here...

Young lad in a modded 90 and normally late at night. Quick check over the radio, Sorry for the inconvenience and I'm on my way :)

If you are nice to the coppers then they don't cause you any aggravation! First thing I always do is give them my driving license, Shows you haven't got anything to hide....
