Been offered a series two, not sure of year yet but the reg is three numbers and three letters.
Its in bits and the chassis is shot, bulkhead needs repairs but it is all there inc petrol engine in good order.
Don't know what to offer for it, don't want to insult the man or offer way too much, what do you think?
I know its difficult without seeing it but tub is ok and wings etc its just in bits as he was restoring it and now has to vacate his storage/workshop space and he had three landys and one has to go.

thanks

tbh, people would pay quite a lot for the numberplate if it's transferable, and also the v5.

LRO state a petrol series 2 58-61 "project" as worth £675.

i would go with the low number for the s2, depending on how repairable the bh is and whether you can do the welding yourself or not. if you are like me and lacking in metalwork skills it might be better to get a new galvo bulkhead and chassis so the two big problem areas are sorted once and for all.

if you have to lay out for a new chassis and bulkhead i wouldn't want to pay more than the 250 scrap value tbh.
