hi to all landy owners
im watching some nostalgia on dave old (real)top gear and their spesials
it is the argentina episode, H982 FKL..we won
its great to forget and chill enjoying those three getting upto no good
god how i mis them on uk tv
i am waiting for the lockdown to end so i can see the grand tours latest episode at my sons, the vietnam one was dec 2019...what a year its been
and remember a land rover is not just for christmas, if its a good one it might last till boxing day !!

Nope. Initially Top Gear was fun and informative, by the time of the Argentina fiasco they were just louts, looking to cause trouble in every episode, and on every continent.
Fifth Gear all the way.

old tg for me, its boring with out hem
but now and again i watch 5th gears vikki broadbean bulter harvester...n her squeeky voice

Forgot to add, and they can stuff Grand Tour where the sun doesn't shine. After years of , quite rightly, taking the p out the septics, and our Armed Forces giving them all sorts of assistance, in the making of TG, first episode of GT , they capitulate immediately when the septics say their Armed Forces are better than ours. All because GT is funded by a septic company.

i only like the trio and what they get up to, amazon and the beeb mean nothing to me
 
anyway, back to TG.....

my mrs found & downloaded the old TG from 2002 onwards then the old TG from '77 onwards....

then the Topgear Rally reports from '84-'97 :cool:

slowly working through them, slow goingo_O

brilliant, when you get to the episode where michael schumacher is the stig, it will bring a tear.

Each to their own :) Early days TG was great, then they started to believe their own hype. I had stopped watching it long before the punch, however decided to see what GT was like. It is just same crap , bigger budget.
 
Please keep your inane drivel to AG, that's to the OP, not machotits, although the lines are becoming a tad blurred....
