hi has anyone fitted two batterys to a p38 4.6 if so where did you put the second batery too thanks kev

Hi Kev, Mine is on its side next to the spare wheel. I did not install it, but was in the car when I bought it.

I wouldn't put a lead acid battery on it's side - even a sealed one. If it's just extra starting power you need why not install a higher capacity main battery like a 664? The other option is a motor cycle battery beside the main one under the bonnet in the normal place. That way the extra wiring only need be about a foot long. That'll give a little extra zing and in effect be a permanently attached jump battery. (Wouldn't run the car on a bike battery on its own though unless you want to smell boiling acid.)

No neither would i. It has to be a GEL battery that is being used. Interesting if it ever goes tits up and a wet one is put in it's place.

you might has well put a couple of AAA batteries in there - the average MB battery is rated at around 9Ah 80A CCA
