I have checked Autodata and Rave (01>) and neither say anything about a special tool, so not sure where this has come from

I've looked nearly everywhere I could think of (That'll be Google and ask Jeeves then
)I think yr just gonna have to think up and design a tool yrself

In the past year I have changed two Freelander batteries. In both cases on these 2003 cars the bottom nut stayed in place even though the clamp securing bolt was corroded. As battery changes go it could not have been more simple. On the V6 we fitted the larger TD4 battery, extra cost was small and we gained extra capacity.
