I am planning t relocate the battery on my 90 and would like to know if there is a recomended maximum length of cable run (volt drop etc.)
I plan to re-site it just behind the rear bulkhead and box it in so it's not too far away, any idea's?

Just make sure you get good heavy cable and make all your connections well.

I would try and put in new runs for the starter and alternator cables and not join any it can be at all avoided, any joins should be soldered.

I would find a good new route for the cables along the chassis and up into the tub or something.

Oo! A battery question! Why re-locate your battery? Is it a starter battery or an auxilliary battery? You know? Those batteries for your winches and other manly stuff. Question: do you really live in Ormonde Street? Or is it a hoax? "Relocate my Battery" Sounds like you're moving house. As Discomania said: "Just make sure you use real heavy cable" Thats it. Lets have a cup of tea. "Re-locate." LMFAO.

WTF...

go with 35mm(2) cable, should be HD enough for your needs. the extra length wont be much more than the batt box i would imagine. just make sure you seal it well from underneath or you get plenty of water in next time you go wading ;)
