Heres couple of pictures, although probly doesnt help much? I was told the bonnet and Hinges are S2A The sills on the side at nearly 3 inches so not sure about that?? The front wings have the original bolt in them for front wing mirrors? Im affraid Im a novice so if im wrong excuse me

Won't know the difference between and s3 and s2 bonnet if it hit me in the face. By hinges, I assume you mean door hinges, if so some people fit s2 hinges to allow the doors to open fully.
Deep sills are 4 inch, shallow are 2 and bit. If you have deep sills sell them! As they are hard to get.
S3 wings had the hole for the wing mirror clocked with a grommet. Sounds like some one just wanted the mirror back.
Tbh, that stuff sounds pretty minor and the usual interchange of bits over the years.
Does the chassis number match the v5? What engine is it and does the number match the v5?
If the transmission is all s3 and as its not tax exempt then I wouldn't worry.
If you want, just buy stuff like hinges off eBay or whatever, there's bucket loads around.
