Battery Management P065B, B11DB

Hello everyone, newbie here. Just bought a used 2010 RR Sport HSE Supercharged and I'm having charging system fault and related codes. In investigating one of the first discoveries is the disconnected wire shown in the pic. Can anyone advise where it connects? Many thanks in advance. Cheers--Bob in FL USA

Nowhere - it's for the transit relay which is removed at PDI

Thank you for that information. That's a disappointing answer as I was hoping it was related to the various charging system fault codes I have that are putting me in restricted performance mode. Back to the drawing board!

Maybe posting factual DTC's and observations / measurements may get you some guidance rather than speculating?
No-one can help with 'various fault codes' unless they know which ones they are.

I was going to post codes after I had some insight into the plug in the pic.

P0306 misfire

B11DB-87 is the relevant DTC, check the fusible lead from the battery positive to the battery monitor on the negative post for connectivity and check the fusible link hasn't been damaged or blown.

Pretty sure p0306 is misfire on cyl 6. Probably plug or lead.

It won't be a lead - they're coil pack on plug, It could also be due to low voltage so personally I'd discount it until the system is running at >12.6VDC

Checked the wire from pos to battery monitor and it looks ok. I'll try a jumper to verify no breaks in the wire.
