Morning all. Wonder if anyone here can help me out? I bought my landy a few months ago and it has been running as sweet as an nut until the weather set in.
The initial problem I had was the reverse lights coming on while driving, but only in 2nd and 4th. Replaced the sensor but that didnt solve it,so as a short term remedy I removed the lamps and disconnected the sensor. Went to take it to the sparky to have it looked at and the SRS light started coming on but only at 2000rpm and above(?). That fault seems to have gone now. However, now I have another problem. The battery is draining overnight. Its a new one and only been on the car for two days and its driving me bonkers!lol. Any ideas or suggestions as to what may be causing it? Thanks in advance.

I think you have an electrical fault..............

But unfortunately my balls are hairy not crystal so as to where the fault might lay, I would have to say that the best person to answer that is an auto electrician who is actually looking at the vehicle!

The reverse switch sounds like it needed adjusting rather than replacing. Sts light shouldn't have anything to do with the revs.

LOL. Cheers. Im just waiting for a jump start then off to the sparky I go. Will post result.

Cheers peeps. Checked everything I could think of,interior lights, switches, newly fitted stereo, pulled all the fuses and relays one at a time(had sparky with me who was checking the load on the battery as it was pulling 2A with the ignition off). Long story short the alternators crocked. Now to sort out the reverse lights problem.lol. Thanks again for your help/suggestions.
