Hi all, I’ve got a second hand seat box to go on that’s in good condition but the battery box has some surface rust. I was wondering what’s best to get rid of the rust and what to paint it with or if they’d be worth powder coating?
Thanks

Just buzz back to clean metal, degrease, use an acid etch/zinc U-POL primer, then finish with a few coats of your preferred paint. Buzzweld or U-POL Raptor are both excellent.

I would not powder coat.

I like the old fashioned red oxide followed by machine/tractor enamel for steel. Then liberally coated in you preferred choose of chassis wax on the outside.
