Think so yeah @defender_ventures!
Properly cleaned the landy today for the first time in a while.
So many new scratches.
So much bubble corrosion
I got the bubbly corrosion in places too, drives me nuts, really need to get some acid etch primer for the ally but god knows which one is any good?
Health check done at Gigglepin. Near enough all good!
- Adjusted the master properly so good.
- FPR starting to weep
- Two shocks misting
- TRE replaced
- New rear prop needed due to worn yoke
Otherwise all good! Nothing expensive so im happy!
Did you ask then how it was adjusted wrong?
What rear prop do you have and how did the yoke get worn? was the UJ OK?
Cheers
Standard original prop with new GKN UJs. UJs are ok.
Guessing worn thru hefty use i would guess, increased by the lift and LSD i suppose.
Sounds good,
I will stick with my Gwynn Lewis WA props.
Cheers
Indeed I did
Not sure i can afford the next level up -

I did, decided for the time they will be on, then the cost is not too bad, I used the "how many beers" or " tanks of fuel" equation to make it work in my head.
Cheers
Fair point! Ill have a think!
