Pulled up abs light on dash when put diagnostics to see if can turn it of the fault had been cleared before by previous owner so couldn't reset it and when we looked at sensor the end had been squeezed inLike that bottle jack.

Mot did say the rubbers was split didnt know how bad till took it apartF*ck me. They were bad!
I elongated the hole in the dust cover where the sensor fits through so the sensor can remain in place should the hub ever need removing in the futureNew ABS sensors fitted the old ones had been damaged by previous owner after replacing a bearing on the front
Your right I used a slim chisel and a lump hammer I knocked around these points till come loose and pulled it outLooks Great!! Do you notice a big difference in handling?
Any tips for getting the rusted and stuck hub off? Looks like you possibly chiseled it a little?
Ive tried twice now to replace my ball joints. Couldn't get the hub off with any normal means. Next time, I have a very slim fox wedge and a torch in case it gives me any grief again.
I'll have to remember that I did put lots of grease on them before fitting to make sure they slid in place easy mine came with dust coversI elongated the hole in the dust cover where the sensor fits through so the sensor can remain in place should the hub ever need removing in the future
2 long bolts,at least an inch longer than hub securing bolts ,screwed in on the diagonal the hit the head with a decent weight hammerLooks Great!! Do you notice a big difference in handling?
