Thinking about replacing all four joints on mine before MOT due in December as a couple look suspect.

Can anyone advise on the best press kit to use which has all the necessary receivers included?

I was looking at the proper UK-made Laser one on eBay with a £50 discount but don't know if its overkill when a sub £100 C-clamp type will do the job.

The laser kit should be good and the cheaper kit will only do a couple of sets before it suffers thread loss. Either kit, make sure the threads are well oiled.
When clamping the ball joints, tighten the clamp up tight and then shock the ball joint seat with a hammer to help release the ball joint. Don't just wind it up and expect the ball joints to just slip on out baby. If they do come out easy, someone either greased them before hand or the axle casing is shot and stretched in that area. Check also for punch marks around the ball joint casings to see if they've been done before. If not then even better.
When you've finished doing them put one punch mark close to each ball joint as this will tell someone they've been done before 👍

I bought super cheap Amazon rubbish. The actual C clamp bent getting the last one out.... so I bought another and used that to install them all. You takes your money your pays your choice, but I doubt I'll ever do them again and the cheap tool was CHEAP.

Even buying two was probably cheaper than a good quality tool.
