ball ache

just replaced alternator as battery light was coming on intermitently and is still the same ,,,drove to kfc parked on full right hand lock and had trouble starting it back up then noticed no dash clocks,,, temp,,,rev,,,fuel or mph working and the heater control unit gone off also ,,,,got it home and now it wont start atall ,,,,ive noticed water getting in the near side of the boot and dripping on all the entertainment bits could this be anything to do with it ,,,ive tryed jumping it and disconecting the earh off the battery but still no good ,,,,ive got 12.1v coming off battery and 14.6 when the vehicle is running ,,,,any help would be great

I take it you checked the connections on the alternator.Try a jump lead from the battery earth to the engine, any improvement them check your earthing points. What voltage do you have at the starter motor ?

ok cheers for that ,,,ive tryed jumping it from the normal jumping pionts but not on the battery i will see what ive got at the starter ,,,,cheers for that thanks alot
