A 3/4 weeks ago i topped up the swivels as low . I have the 3 port fill/drain/level type swivels so easy to check . , Although the grease is mixing with diff oil as diff oil has that grey tint . Now maybe its because i don't use full steering lock often ? but i had of late , The other day i noticed blobs of swivel grease/oil on the inside of the wheel as i parked with o/s wheel on full lock and so i could see , i had not looked before then .
So guessed the hub seal had gone , anyway i cleaned it all off on the inner wheel and the " Inner face of the Disc " Blew out breather , although breather seemed clear . Just Been out and about so checked and nothing on the wheel as before.

Now was this due to an over-fill in the first place and forced past the hub seal .
Or because it was a bit over full and when i used full lock forced it out .
There is nothing around the big swivel ball seal ! .

Would it not still leak out something even if diff oil , if the seal failed even if all the swivel grease had gone . ,
Can anyone please shine some light on this , i don't want to knacker a CV joint or worse .

Did you take the wheel off when you cleaned it off? Blobs of grease sounds more like bearing grease than one shot. Might be worth investigating the state of the rear hub seal and your wheel bearings....

Hi its the front hub !! , I did the rears a month ago so all good there . But it looked like the rear did and why i just thought seal . Contamination was on the inside of the disc only , and on the inside of the wheel , between disc and back plate .

It did feel look / feel like swivel grease just like what was on the breather banjo . . The rear seal that went that was a bit more runny and why i said blob . I should of taken a picture .
Its more the fact why nothing there today .
