Bad noise from front,

But alas I'm going to have to get rid of him, I'm doing a ridiculous amount of milege up and down the m4 so ive bought a m4 muncher for the job, but gutted about Gav Just cant afford to repair or keep two cars on the rd any more

My D1 has been making it since I drove it home 6 years ago, the noise comes in at right on 90 kl/hr, (48 mph?), then after about 100 kl/hr (60 mph) miraculously its gone, tried quieting it with full synth gear oils, I keep expecting the box to go boom, but in all those years/klm it just keeps on humming, best way is to keep the speed 100 or above, if it ain't broke I ain't fixin it.
