Looks like I have only two dead Landys now as the TD5 suspension is working again....:)

However, it could be an intermitent problem as the suspension dropped completey the other day. Checked the pump, wd40d the connections, jacked the car up at the rear end and all is well again?

Used the raise and lower function a few times with no problems must now - all seem as normal.

Maybe I need to replace the height sensors?

I have air suspension on mine, I like it, but I don't trust it!
It's only gone down on me once, it never had a chance to go down a second time, so for me it was a case of no messing about, forget the soap bubbles etc. I just changed the bags immediately and had no trouble since. That was two years ago.

I've already changed the air bags, the compressor and both suspension struts. Been OK until two days ago.

However, I've just taken for a test and within 100m the amber warning light comes up on the dash - will have to investigate further...

Maybe so, but As ever I'm in the middle of nowhere without a code reader - next thing on the Xmas list. The suspension will rise again after I jack up the rear, and it stays up until I drive away. I'm guessing it's the valve block, but not too sure yet...

Unplug the two air supply valves and the compressor when it's on level and leave them so (you'll get the warning but it's completely driveable) if it's management issue it will stay on level for days this way, if it's leak it will drop so at least you know half of the problem ... be aware, the air supply valves have retaining clips at the bottom

Had mine go down once, not sure what I did to car, as soon as I turned on ignition reinflated properly.

Car was on axle stands and jack at the time and dropped as I let down jack.

Only issue ever

Back to normal suspension height and no problems whilst standing in the barn. I reckon its a valve problem but I wont get out until tomorrow as we've had incredible storms.

That's normal cos the system is active with ignition off for 1.5 hours and as the back was lifted above the target heights it let out air to drop back to normal height but as it didnt get the target heights input being on stands it kept the valves open untill all the air got out then when you releasewd it from the stands it went down to bumps but the system reinflated normally after the engine was started

Been out on a test drive and no problems with the suspension dropping, Obviously the pump works and the bags don't leak so I'm now hoping its just the valve block, if not its the electronikery slab behind the glove box - I hear that's a real pig to get to..l

All too hopeful...

Pump not working now regardless of height sensors. Have bitten the bullet and ordered a brand new pump to eliminate one area completely.
