Amongst the Volvos and Kias I've been lucky enough to have a few Landys, a lovely 200TDI Discover and a TD5 Discovery, sadly both lost to the rot
:-(

Now I find myself with a cheeky little freelander, it's a 2004 facelift and fills the gap for now but I'd really love a Disco3 or 4 sometime. It was a stop gap car when we needed something quick, it had the prop removed long ago so only 2wd and therefore its not necessarily what I'd have chosen with more time but I'm trying to get it a little tidier and sort a few problems along the way. I cant see a lot of point in investigating new prop without it being very expensive especially if there are other issues besides the VCU, who knows at what point it was removed and what else would need repairing.
