Good Morning All

Wonder if the forum could shed some light on an issue we have with our FL1 Back Door

The window drops when the handle is activated but immediately rises once the door is opened
To close we have to hold the handle to drop the window and be lightening quick to close the door before it rises

Can hear the microswitch operating but noticed one of the springs is missing could that be the cause of the problem ?

Read other listings for similar situations but they seem to allude to failed microswitches

As ever any advice would be greatly received

Kind Regards

I had this a long time ago! Pretty sure it was the switch in the actual lock mech that wasn't working. I think I also got the door open light on the dash when the door was closed.

The CCU takes the door open command and operates the window. If the switch doesn't operate then the signal is just a short pulse as the door catch releases.

If the door is releasing the door handle switch is working OK.

Morning Andy

Thanks for the swift reply

So from your memory is it a changeover switch in the lock or another microswitch to look at?

Additionally are you talking about the lock with the solenoid part attached?

Appreciate your assistance in advance

Kind Regards

Separate switch but in the main lock body where solenoid is.
