Gents,
I need some advice.... I'm in France currently with my Freelander 1 and have had to buy a new tyre as I punctured one off roading. So Tuesday I bought two new tyres 'Michelin Latitude tour hp' 215/65/R16 102H and had them put on the back and the old ones on the front... drove the car and wondered what the hell happend! The noises were terrible. I went back to the garage and banged my head against a brick wall because of the langauge barrier. I did some further research on line and discovered that I now need to makesure I have four of these not two as they are not compatible with other tyres (slight change in Diameter apparently...so I read) Equally, to drive with out four but only two will cause major problems with the VCU!!! [That makes me nervous]. Nervous because I've now got the garage to get the damn tyres but they won't have them till MONDAY!!!!! [Only in France] and equally I have to drive my FL another 130 miles between now and Monday! Question is will the VCU hold out!!!! Or will it be :censored:...I'm not sure if, in the short term it would be okay, and only get damaged in longterm.... if that makes sense? Is 130 miles classed as long term?
Anyway would welcome some constructive feedback.
Cheers
