Has anybody got any news on getting hold of the latest RF Receiver. I've tried the usual suspects who say they can't get hold of them. I'm loathed to go to a main dealer but fear it may be the only answer, although I'm not sure they will be able to help they seem so scarce.

Ebay seems to be full of people trying to sell the latest version, which they clearly are not. Anybody had any success recently?

I wouldn't give up on eBay totally, I got a new one in box for £50 a while back, but you are right you need to be sure it's pukka, returns policy and 100% feedback etc

I tried main dealer, they told me a 2 month wait, that got boosted to 4 months. Now they have finally said they can't get hold of them at all.

[edit: If I recall, only Island 4x4 have them, but at £300 a punt.]

You're still alive then Bix??

Hadn't seen you round these parts for a while, thought you had finally got your call up papers and you were off learning to be a servant of Her Majesty's Armed Forces.....

Talking of those with bang bang sticks...haven't seen GoldRover around either....she on tour?

Thanks for the pointers. Tried Island 4x4 who say they can't get hold of them and if main dealers are saying the same looks like a waiting game on fleabay.

Annoying thing is 2 years of no issues until new neighbours opposite have moved in and now getting issues. Brand new 900 cca battery is keeping most things at bay, just getting the occasional bug when left on the road as opposed to on the drive where MY pride and joy should be sitting!!

I did, I am on leave, go back on Monday, but this time I get to take my RR with me and have a kapooter, so no doubt will be flooding the boards with inane ramblings again. Plus we have a car club down there so I can book it into the spare workshop and make use of the ramps and tools, which is useful.

Goldie has been quite recently, the work of a red hat though. Probably busy arresting people for having too much moral. :p

What I found worked with mine is not super locking it. The battery would drain overnight when super locked, I've been single locking it recently and she stood for 2 months without being used and started up without issue.
