Autobox oil......I'm really confused!!!

Hi All.

I found a small leak on my autobox cooler hose today, so I reckon I probably need to top the fluid up.

I've done a search and found out how to check the fluid level, but what I can't find is what fluid I should be using.

I grasped that changing the fluid is probably signing a death warrant for the box (86 classic V8), so I won't be doing that.

I guess what I'm asking is can I put this in without any adverse effects??

Don't pay Halfrauds prices, go to a motor factor. If you download RAVE you will probably find it recomends Dexron II since the box is a ZF4HP22. You could also use Dexron III.

Would normally agree with Datatek, they call em Halfrauds for a reason!

Have bought that oil myself though, found it a bit of a struggle to find 5L at that price anywhere else!
