Another job for the weekend

Came to go to work tonight and my freelander would turn over but wouldn't stay running it would just die.

Been running fine until today

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated

Can you hear the fuel pump running? It should run for about 30 seconds after the ignition is switched on.

Where's the best place to listen for it
It depends on the year of it. If it's after 2003 there's 1 pump under the driver's side rear arch/ sill. Pre 2003 use a tank mounted pump and an extra engine bay mounted pump. Operation of both types of pump installation are the same. You should be getting 30 seconds of running after ignition switch on. Listen at the rear RH wheel to confirm this.

I had two 02 cars with the pump in each location so the change must have happened some time in 02.
