Hi everyone, I have just joind the forum and hoping someone can help me, I have just got a Range Rover Classic 3.9 and i need to change the end part of the auto shifter but am not sure how to remove the one on there now, i see a small spring clip type thing on the top, is this the only thing holding it on or is there something else, hopefully someone can help me get this sorted so i can start enjoying some mud, thanks.

do you mean the hi/low selector or the 'gear stick'? On mine the gear selector stick pops out by undoing a clip at its base.

Sorry i should have said, it's the top of the gear selector that i need to get off.

think it just pulls off- you can put a nice walnutty thingy on..... if youre that way inclined!
