Lord knows how, but I have broken it.
It came off ok, no trouble or damage I can recall at the time and was simply changing the ATF.
It was cleanish, although had a little sludge and stuff attached to the magnet. Nothing to worry about I thought.
the drained ATF was still reddish and looked/smelt ok.
Every on the whole has gone to plan but the plug will not go back in the sump.
I turns half a turn then falls out as soon as you put a socket on it.
Looking at it closely the thread looks absolutely knackered. How the hell did that happen? I have not had a chance to cross thread it yet, unless it was by the previous change..... I did not do that either. Where are the missing threads? surely not still in the sump plug hole I hope..... Seems totally clean.
