Disco 2 Auto box cooler hoses question.

A few actually

How are they connected to the pipes to the box?

What pressure are they at?

The cooler end, it that standard components I can get anywhere?

I am thinking of a preemptive replacement to avoid a burst (BTDT).

Also MAY get a new cooler.

1. Standard hydraulic glands to suit.
2. It varies with engine speed, my D1 should be at idle 665 to 735rpm around 6.1 bar, 10 bar at 2000rpm.
Check your D2 Workshop manual it could be different pressure.
3. Nope just LR, but there’s after market suff I expect.

Allisport do one which looks nice and not THAT much more, but they have two.

It may look nice when new and maybe see it behind the rad grill.
I believe that Allisport products can exceed the specifications of the factory issue item when used in a performance and competition setting in which a quick additional cooling is required.

Well it does get hot driving through Wales, lots of hills and too slow to lock up.
