This p38 should of been left to die i think! I am regretting taking it on but i am way to far down the line. Its time the old girl realised i am not giving up and decided to be reliable!!

need a explosive view of valve block zf 4hp22

? i think i have it but have to search for it in my old computer hard disk which is not working any more :screaming_bug_eye_f:screaming_bug_eye_f:..., . it that legal to attach this on the forum here ? I PROMISE NOTHING I WILL TRY ???

If you have one that would be fantastic. i am thinking i may lay the car up and go for it. if i do balls it up i will have to find a second hand box. but i am quite confident, more so if i have a diagram.

Friday is D day. picked up a 2nd hand box tonight for not a lot of money. So i am going to swap the valve blocks over and hopefully i will have a fully functional gearbox!

yes you can ....depend on ??? if you have the faulty solenoid of no a good working one ,, and you built it in ,,,, it better that you measure of test the solenoid before you build it in the box ,,,,

Solenoids don't often fail but it's easy enough to test the coil resistance, PM me with an email address and I'll send you the test data.

i swapped the valve block and its still the same. Must be an issue in the box itself. Worth a try though.

Either a clutch gone or an electrical fault. Worth looking on diagnostics before you swap the box.

i had it plugged in but nothing showed up. i am just going to cut my losses and sell it as spares or repairs while it still drives. i have my heart set on a td5 disco (manual!)
