Spoke to midland turbo this morning the place that refurbed my turbo when the last owner had it, they have sent a courier to collect it and told me they'll see whats failed and repair if poss under warranty, SOME GOOD NEWS FER A CHANGE :D:D:D happy as ****.... untill they call 2mora and tell me it aint covered lol
 
Once again I have to drop out, sorry.

On August 26th I am having an operation on my neck so won't be fit.

Also, and just to complicate things for me, we've just found out I have Diabetes ... about to go to hospital for some blood tests but it's not looking good so far, especially as they've booked me into a counselling session already!

So once again, sorry, can't be helped and I'd much rather be coming along with you but I think all I'll be able to do is sit up in bed ... not much use on Chapelgate .. ;)

Hope you all have fun, don't get too drunk and do get off with the barmaids ... ;)
 
Sorry to hear that Paul, hope you make a speedy recovery from the op. depending on your diabetes (if it comes to that) it may just be a case of changing your diet.

Guys just so your aware there is a very good chance we will be stopped by op Blackbrook on this run so please make sure that any mods you have on your vehicles are declared to your insurance companys as they will check and if they find that they arent legally covered then they will have your vehicle towed away.
I have submitted our route and the Glass rep and he will be going over it for me on sunday, because ive been forthcoming with our route and from speaking to these guys i belive we will be ok, but i just thought it was only fair to inform you guys as the last thing i want is for someone to get nicked and then loose there vehicle.
Im hopefully meeting with them sometime Sunday 1st Aug if i get chance, so i will post more info up then as i will know what areas they are gonna be covering that weekend so if need be we can tweek the route a little to avoid them as there are plenty of lanes to play with.
So if upon reading this you dont fancy doing this run then please let us know so that i can inform the campsite and stuff before its to late.

my mods are all declared,- AIDREEN FLUX modified policy
 
mine is pretty standard but will double check tonight (sainsburys) for sill guards and bull bar. neither are a performance mod but bang goes the new suspension and tyres until the renewal comes through :eek:

put my mondy through adrian flux earlier this year and have been waiting for the renewal to sort the disco

had to get rid of me slitty before it fooked up completely i reckon a w/e up there wuda dun exactly that, SO...... i got 27 days to find a mota... all ideas welcome :)
