I recently had my clutch done and the battery was disconnected for a while. I've trawled the history file and can't find a radio code anywhere. I think I've tried all the stupidly obvious codes but sadly, i'm running out of ideas. In the olden days i'd have put it in the freezer for a few days then tried -0000- again but i don't think that works any more. Is there some kind of reset or cheat code that i don't know about or should i just buy a new head unit?
As always, many thanks.

No. All you can do is speak to the dealer. They should have a record of the code but might want to see proof of ownership.

Last year, the local main dealer had the record of my radio from a 2003 model. Just take some proof of ID and the V5 in to show the vehicle is yours.

(did look at me as if I was a peasant though when I said the model name and year! - sorry I wasn't enquiring about a brand new RR Autobiography!)

That's pretty impressive! I'll look into that!

Gosh darn it!

While i'm at it.... Am i right in thinking that the speakers are all 5.25" jobbies?

Tar.

Yes but they are not a standard shape. The basket is plastic and shaped to fit the door. You can fit 6.5" speakers but you'll need to make some adapter plates to fit them

Sorted the head unit issue!
