If by proper landy you mean a chevy truck and by derv you mean petrol then yes

having said that this engine is merely a stop gap until next year as I havey eyes on something big and diesel smelling from the states which should fit nicely into my home made chassis

Cheaper to buy one and build it that way, would cost me far too much for a rotten old C section chassis plus it would be registered as an HGV too
