Attaching pics in threads

Need bit of techhie advice

Trying to upload pics on to a thread using 'manage attachments'

When I choose BROWSE option and select pics saved as .jpg files I get a massage saying files are wrong extension. I have already compressed the pics for web usage

Can anyone recommend a simple way of doing this

dont compress them - just use std jpeg format

Thanks MHM, but pics were oversized for uploading, will try to take some of the detail out

I assumedthat yu had read the "maximum upload size" bit

just resize them

I usually just use paint to make them smaller, and save them as jpeg

I spose I should ask - are you talking about within the text window - or as an attachment?

At last got pics sorted, had to export from corel draw as jpg then resize as MHM suggested. Limited to 244kb
