Hi peoples of the landy world
The other at night 2am I broke done on the M1 outside Leeds, turned out one of the hoses for the gearbox atf fluid pipe to the front mounted cooler which runs under the passenger side wheel arch had split causing loss of atf and then all drive.
I'e replaced the hose with some new hose but the hose I have used is really for the rad cooling system / hot water as it BSS certified for boats, it' slightly thicker than the original.

My question is does it really need some special atf proof hose or will this be ok?

id get a proper hose, ive known other hoses soften over time and burst in similar situations

Thanks for replying, it looks exactly the same as on the power steering low pressure hose on dodge 50s but looks are not the same as an sae number so yes I will get some proper hose asap and make do with this for now.
