The gearbox was playing up, the wife had gone out, and I'd run out of excuses not to do it.

Oooh Ahhhh

Only thing is, now the gearbox works, you can really tell the suspension bushes need replacing, and the drop links and the lower ball joints and I'll have to sort out the squeaky hard top, the list goes on!

I am sure she will understand, when women get older, often the drop links are an issue - and yikes - the lower ball joints ! - don't get me started ! o_O
And god forbid the 'Squeaky hard top' - oh fook .... - never happy they are - never bloody happy.............................................
:D

Are you sure it's the hard top squeaking and not the seat catches. I wrap hoops in a few turns of electrical insulation tape to improve the fit.

I know what you mean about the seat catches, but it's defo the hard top and the 2 roof catches.
I know because I got the wife to drive while I sat in the back:eek: I would like nominating for a bravery award and also the Nobel peace prize, for managing to survive the drive and not screaming at the wife.
Imagine Michael Schumacher blended with Valentino Rossi, with a hormone inbalance and a total disregard for life:confused:
