I installed my new ashcroft unit into a diff I had spare, tested it on the bench and it didn't leak however I'm not happy with one thing. The 90 degree elbow that goes into the unit itself is facing the wrong way, it's pretty tight as it is and I'm a little apprehensive about dogging this up more to get the other 180 degrees....
The last thing I want to do is strip the threads on a 600 quid locker.... Reason I want to sort it as I fitted it to the truck in the rear and the compressor kicks it once a minute so it has a slight leak on it somewhere so being as it's coming back out I want this right as it can only be this connection or the bit where it passes through the diff housing. I've tested the other joints
