Just off a stuffy feckin bus to find I've got a puncture. No breaker bar! Sitting in the rain waiting for wifey to bring the tools. Serves me right for not putting it all back. Could be worse place but luckily in a car park. ☹ Friday night eh.

You'll have one tomorrow for saying that .You know...I've been motoring for 37 yrs and I've never had a puncture.
I carry two. Turned out to be a tiny puncture on the side of the inner tube. No sign of a nail. Seems ok now.
Loose flake of rust? Tis common cause in old steelies
Spot on that's what the tyre depot did. It also had that done last year when I changed tyres but as said..old steel wheels.Very. Often a wire brush and red oxide round inside the wheel will stop the problem dead.
