ARE ROOF BARS COMPATIBLE FOR ALL FREELADER 1's

Are the freelander roof bars that are fitted to year 1999/2000 freelanders able to be fitted to 2005 models ? Ive seen few earlier standard fit roof bars available but not sure if they will fit my 2005 model, The ones advertised don't seem to come with mountings and so I cant work out how the rear feet would attach to rear of car. I'm talking about the actual standard roof bar L shaped frames on 3 door hb models (not additional cross bars )

I can not see why not as they are all the same body on earlier to late models

Yes thanks think you must be correct. I have been googling pictures of models between 2000 and 2005 and zooming in on fixing points. For some reason its mostly the earlier cars that have them and lots of later ones are without them. Perhaps they were standard on earlier models and became an optional extra later. Anyway it looks like they should fit but are useless without the mounts Ill keep searching for a complete set
