Remould tyres have to meet certain safety standards,it is re treaded tyres that are no good. With a remoulded tyres it basicaly is new tread that is heat moulded like a new tyre but uses a used casing,a re tread is just and old casing and a tread stuck on.Or used to be,not sure if they still make them anymore.
This....
the old 70s used to be retreads, not sure if they do retreads for passenger/lgv thesedays, they still do them for hgv, you still occasionally see the odd tread thats come adrift on the side of the motorway. oh, and apparently they do them for planes too
Just purchased some kingpin amazons 265/75/16 need fitting to my wheels as yet, apparently there a bit of a sod to balance on alloys.
