Admiral won in the end, cheaper than the specialists, nearly a third of Fluxs quote.
Exactly the same for me. Cheapest by far from all, including the specialists.
Check the small print for theft insurance though...

What am I looking out for on that? I've had em before but not claimed off em. Tbf I'm looking to not have the motor stolen.
On the policy, there's a section somewhere that goes on about including anything in the special requirements leaflet. When I followed that, it shows its not covered for theft unless it has a tracker.
Still haven't phoned them to confirm but need to.

1. Agreed value
If your vehicle is lost, stolen or damaged beyond repair, we will pay you the amount stated on the current Agreed
Valuation Certificate.
If the value of your vehicle has changed, you can contact us for a new valuation.
You are covered to attend club rallies and competitions if you do not participate in racing, pace making, rallying, track
days trials or speed tests either on a road, track, private grounds or at an off-road 4x4 event.
2. Telematics policy
This policy is subject to additional terms, conditions and charges relating to the type of Telematics policy you have.

3. Active tracker and subscription
If your vehicle is stolen, we will only pay your claim if it is fitted with a functional tracker with an active

The first sentence means it only applies if its on yer policy.
I am a bit concerned it states that MOD property is a hazardous location and they won't cover that. I'm probably gonna be spending more time on bases shortly.

Nah, that first sentence is exclusive. Certain cars will require trackers, I'm surprised it didn't include mine ,seeing as it's keyless.

They wanted the best part of |£600 to insure my td4 with no prop on and maximum NCB. Had to turn it down.

Flux are more than three times what I paid last year now. And they must still be desperate cold calling me on a Saturday. Still a flat no.

They've stopped calling but still quoted nearly 2 and a half K. That's a flat no from me.
