are all series driver's this nice

well after getting okay too leave hosi this morning. i met an old man walking his dog he commented on my old range rover not doing too bad for its age, and that he was doing up his old series 2a. well after 10 minutes jibber jabber, and panard he gave me his address. popped over after finishing work at 4 this afternoon and the nice old chap gave me for free full set of brand new brakes/hubs/cyclinders/orignal metal grill/2.1/4 diesil engine 33 thou miles from new/ shocks/exhaust/ smyths gauges a load of other goodies for my 14 yaer olds comp series 2a so a big thanks to all u older series drivers. gentlemen all of you

Result, I hope you do something nice for him!

Years ago I visited a patient at home, and when I left the house their next door neighbour started talking about Land Rovers. Five minutes later I left with an armful of air filters, bulbs, fan belts & things, and a complete refusal of any money as he was happy to help keep an old Landy running.

same thing complete refusal to take any money just a promise from my boy to keep it orignal as poss apart from the snorknel and he was happy as larry.
