I ordered Mapco reinforced ARB drop links and Moog bushes. The OEM ones are end of life, no doubt.

My plan is to just go to full steering lock with the car on ground and change the ARB links since the fastenings aren't seized and have penetrating oil to the threads the last few days. But the ARB bushes?? Before or after ARB links?

I am working in a remote place with minimal tools available. (I get my workshop back in June 😎).

Any experienced thoughts? Even if it is better to leave the bushes until when I can safely jack the car up and thereby remove any torsional (and other loads) through ARB to help with changing them?

Thanks again!

Do the ARB bushes while the drop links are off. Takes all load off then !

You'll need to slide under and a pair of ramps will help. 4 x 10mm bolt heads from memory threaded into front subframe.

Thanks! Very helpful @andyfreelandy that you confirm my thoughts. The ground here has enough undulations to position the hippo in a position that I can slide under (with wheel blocks to stop her rolling back or forwards).

It's a few years since I put poly arb bushes on mine but I'm pretty sure I did it with the car on the gound, lying underneath without too much of a problem. I also fitted some split collars to the bar at the same time to stop it moving about.
