Apache vs Tigershark

Hi all,

I know winch questions have been asked before but....

I would appreciate any help with the following:

My better half has agreed to buy me a winch for Xmas! :-D

We have agreed to buying new as only occasional use really and the guarantee would protect any mishaps for the firt 12 months!

At the moment with offers can get the apache for £250 or the tiger shark for £263 delivered.

My question, is there any real difference between the two or for the wireless remote is the apache best?

Got the tigershay in the end.

Seems like a good bit of kit!

Before its fitted diescanyone reccomend aanything to treat the cable and keep "as new"?
Would hate it to be rusty in 6 months time!

Replace with dynarope? Much safer anyway

Ha ha! Not according to superwinch! Apparantly it runs too hot for synthetic!

Maybe on my next one! 😊

Cable should be galvanised so shouldn't rust for a good while yet.
