Just bought a Snow Foam lance to fit onto my Karcher jet washer. Gave it a try this morning using some Magifoam. Makes for a different kind of wash :D. Anyone else use one?

I have one and use it on my Ford. To be honest the "main" reason for using it is to spray on and let it drag the dirt off BEFORE going at it with the wash mitt to reduce the risk of swirl marks.

I do use it on the landy but srcratches are not that much of a worry!

Yeh, I put it on whilst dry, then used a mitt & 2 x bucket system to wash ;). Ive never really bothered before, but im gettin a respray soon so want to learn how to look after the paintwork :)

We use one in work to wash the helicopters. Whever I get a chance I jump on and use it. Works pretty well.
What are the cutouts for on your grille? Spots and strobes?

Used to have spots mounted on a A-bar. Took it off a while back, and ive got a nice brunell grill and headlaight surrounds to go on, once its all been sprayd Bonatti grey:)

I have someone clean my cars for me... hope it isn;t noisey and may disturb my avin a fookin lie in :)..... The foam tends to hold the detergent onto the paint... Not as good as half a dozen Eastern or Western Europeans swarming over the beast for £5..... :D.. and no... I aint racist its true.

Sorry, no before'n'after pics :( . I was in a bit of a rush so had to jet wash it off straight away. Ideally I would have left it on for it to dwell for 15 mins or so, for it to do its job.

I'll be doing it again as soon as its really dirty, so Ill take some pics then.

Use it all the time as a 'pre treatment' to lift the dirt away from my German cars before hand washing.

Don't tend to wash the Landy, but if the mood took me, yes I'd use it.

If you've not used before, get yourself a decent applicator rather than just using the 'supplied' low pressure lance with say a karcher. Spray on and make sure you leave it for at least 10 mins before jetting off.

Some like to pre-dilute in the container before using - I just use straight from the bottle - if you want to explore that debate, you'll need to join a detailing forum

Not that cheap, but I'm currently using KARCHER K Series Heavy Duty Professional Foam Lance 1L
