Stay Cool is suposed to help prevention of overheating. Apparently it gives improved heat transfer, making a faster warm up and better coolig - up to 15 deg. C reduction in engine operating temperature.
Anyone tried Stay Cool from Frost?

Why would you want to reduce the engines operating temp so that it runs less efficiently?

And what does it cost? A lot of "E" owners use it or similar, I cannot think why, if the cooling system is kept in top condition. As Wammers posted, why would you want a vehicle not to reach its designed operating temp.

Standard antifreeze in the correct ratio is all you need. It improves coolant flow and heat transfer in the engine and increases the boiling point of the coolant. But for some expensive snake oil rules OK.

£17.78 for 1ltr and they recommend a 25% antifreeze mixture WTF.

£14.99 per litre treats 30 litres of coolant.
If you use, as I do, a high persentage of anti-freeze, this inhibits the effectiveness of the coolant heat transfer abilities.
I tow a lot and in severe summer heat with air-con on, everything helps. Go on the site and read the product description.

I find a fit n healthy cooling system answere all my issues, summer, winter dragging 2t up the cat n fiddle.
I agree with wammers. If the cooling system is in good condition it's not necessary. I was in a traffic jam for 2hours last week in Germany and the outside temp was over 30 degrees. The temp gauge didn't move even with the aircon on full belt and no electric fans working. Granted, the air conditioning wasn't quite as cold as normal and the engine revs crept up ever so slightly. I guess the temp did increase slightly but not enough to do any harm and certainly not enough to spot on the gauge.
If you need stuff like this, then you're masking a problem that's going to bite you on the ass sooner or later!

There is also a coolant called evans waterless coolant ,Says it does not boil ,freeze or expand at normal running temp(,not all at the same time) and is reusable there is no pressure on the cooling system up to 180*c.or something like that,,,

Yes indeed. And if you buy it from Euro car parts it will only cost you £169.21 to fill the cooling system.

That was only for the P38, if you move on to an early L322, to fill a diesel from dry would be £190.63 and a petrol model 259.21. So your discount code would have a lot of merit.

I use R,O water ,Which is made pure for marine fish tanks,i dont use bottled or tap water in my range rover ,

I use natural water have you seen it arround?
it's a perfect mix of hydrogen and oxygen and has an ideal glass transition temperature of 0 deg C.
It has very good wetting properties and is perfectly designed to make a homogenous constant mixture when blended with most common anti freeze chemicals.
I am informed it's so pure and clean you could even drink it!
