Anyone out and about nr Salisbury?

Hey all. Now the disco is finally taxed, insured and MOT'd. Really want to take it out and get it muddy.

So anyone planning a trip out on the plains anytime soon and could I tag along?

Failing that anyone want to go to either matchams or muddy bottom whenever they are open?

Damn missed that then. Would like to get up on the plains soon as I've never been.

Any of them sound good if you don't mind me tagging along. Not sure where mannington is though. Would be good to meet a few off peeps ere too.

Will keep my eye on muddy b faceache page to see when they are open next.

Mannington is over Three Legged Cross way if I remember correctly

have got the Mg up for sale now so should have the disco taxed and insured in the next couple of weeks then I'll be out and about again!

Not too far away then

Only place I've been to out of the 3 of em is matchams but that was when it was a motocross track.

Haha get it gone and get the disco going it needs to be done! My daily is gone too (got wrote off by some twunt rear ending me) so had no choice but to get the disco on the road.

Not a bad thing though I missed driving a landy.

Yea I'm up for going!

Just been sorting out some recovery points so hopefully the disco is now ready

Just need to re-remove the arbs that had to be put on for MOT reasons.

I'm in Downton (on the way to Ringwood from Salisbury) so can just nip across the forest from my place. Which way you heading to get there?

Can find it easily enough I know where Minstead is just not the site.

I could always get over to Ower and meet you at the services then go on from there?

I'm all insured and road legal now, will be the first time the Landy been out the shed for near on 6 months so will be good to see if it all works!! You heading across forest Robb? I'll meet you Bramshaw if you are?

Yea that's the way I'm going then going to Minstead from Ringwood. Old beams sounds like a good shout.

I reckon I'll get to the pub at about half 9 ish maybe a bit before then straight to Ringwood then we should get to the site by 10 ish? What do you reckon?

Yeah half 9 sounds good to me, send me a text int morning if you think you'll be earlier as the pubs literally 2 mins from my house! Will be up bright and early sorting my CB out.

Cool mate. Will send you a text when I'm almost at the pub then. My CB was wired in today. I hope it works.

I'll be up bright and early too making sure nothing has worked loose in the week it's been on the road.

Cool meet you guys there then I will be in my disco bobtail and my mate in his rangy bobtail come and find us and you can tag along with us if u like.
On the lyndhurst rd don't take the road signposted minstead it's another junc up you go down a slight dip and turning is on right they generally put a muddy bottom sign out but blink snd u miss it go over cattle grid and site is about 200 yds on right
